I am writing to you as a simple 'Thank You'. I have gotten the owners of our company to come to the 'new-age' and adjust their Accounting to fit the integrated scanner you offer through TOPS and our bank. I have worked with numerous scanners in the past; but they were only able to deposit to our Association's bank accounts. Once I heard that there was one that could scan the payment in to our homeowner database (TOPS) and then into the corresponding checking account - I had to get ahold of you all (after receiving an email regarding the system).

The very first person I talked with was Richard McShirley. He was VERY helpful and genuine. Throughout the entire set-up and training, I got to talk with many others (all of which were very helpful and friendly) - but I have to say that Jake Aidlin is the one I 'bugged' the most - and was always responsive and helpful. If he, or Richard, could not help me with an issue, they found someone who did. So, I was (and am) very thankful for them and their help.

Regarding the scanner: it is fast, has not jammed, reads checks clearly, and is very easy to set-up and use (I did it all by myself!). I am very thankful I went with this system other than a scanner with my bank. This posts the check into our homeowner database (TOPS) and then uploads it all to our bank. It takes out manual postings, hand-written deposit slips, bank stamps and tedious manual work.

When reconciling the bank statements: it is very efficient and we have not run in to any problems. The only thing we had to get used to (upside) = they batch all deposits for that day into one amount (per Association) AND if we are off or questioning an amount/deposit - we don't have to call the bank for any check copies!! We are able to go to the homeowner's account and print a copy of the check there!

With this, I am very thankful for making my life more easier and for giving the Manager's real time figures when they need to know the balances in the Association's accounts.
